Freddy Caluwaerts

Freddy Caluwaerts has been working in the accountancy sector since 1976 and took his oath to become a certified auditor in 1981. He has accumulated considerable experience with regards to commissioner mandates and corporate law, accounting, fiscal and financial advisory to companies and non-profit associations in the context of foundations, expansions, liquidations and restructurings.
Freddy is director of the Mechelen office which will join Baker Tilly as from January 1st 2019.
Freddy studied accounting in Antwerp (BKR). He used to be a council member of the Belgian Institute of Certified Auditors and a member of the surveillance and auditing standards commissions. Today he is still a member of the commissioner reporting and ISA/ISQC1 work groups and of the Appeal Board.
In addition he regularly attends seminaries as guest lecturer.
