Lieven is head of HR services and labour law consulting, constantly seeking the most practical solution to support employers.
I mainly advise SME clients operating in various sectors. The support is aimed at CEOs or business owners as well as the staff they employ. For instance, I screen the client’s legal HR policy for possible risks to be avoided in a labour law inspection, guide clients through the process of taking on staff and provide advice on putting together or optimising an attractive and competitive reward package.
It’s a very varied, exciting job with many challenges, so that I look forward to going to the office every day.
In my free time I mainly enjoy gardening and spending time with my family. I love hiking, cycling and reading an exciting book as well.

- Development and implementation of a cost policy for a large organisation operating in the textile sector;
- Labour law audit for a transport company;
- HR Quick Scan for a veterinary clinic;
- Guidance on ‘taking on staff’ for a cultural centre with a foyer;
- Support for a ‘reintegration programme for long-term sick employees’ in a funeral business
- Introduction of bicycle leasing at an electrical company
