Tanja De Decker
Tax Partner / Certified tax advisor
Tanja De Decker has worked for Baker Tilly since 2010, initially as Corporate Tax Partner, and for the last few years as full partner. In recent years, she has specialised further in advising on Belgian and international taxation and transfer pricing. Here, her focus lies mainly on providing advice on corporate tax to SMEs and international groups operating in the service sector, manufacturing and distribution, with a particular focus on tax incentives for innovative companies. Over the years, she has assisted with various restructurings, with or without the prior agreement of the ruling department.
Tanja holds a Master’s degree in Business and Economics (International Relations), a Master’s degree in Business Economics (Accountancy) and a postgraduate qualification in Fiscal Studies (Fiscale Hogeschool). She has been a certified tax consultant since 2001. Prior to her career at Baker Tilly, Tanja worked for 13 years as a tax consultant in the financial sector, where she belonged to several tax working groups at Belgian and international level (including tax working groups at Febelfin and the OECD).
Tanja is also a regular guest speaker at seminars. In addition, she chairs the EMEA Tax Committee of our international network Baker Tilly International.
